In the year 2009 “Material Extrusion (ME)” FDM patents expired which is proprietary technology for Stratasys.

After FDM Patents fall off, the technology becomes available to much brooder cross-section of producers.

Now we have FDM technology one of the most popular consumer additive manufacturing devices existed in the market.

In the year 2014 “Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)” Patent expires. Which allow further expansion of “Additive Manufacturing (AM) technologies into the marketplace.
